There are a TON of intake manifolds on the market for inline 4 cylinder engines...how do you know which one is right for YOUR engine? Some of the cast manifolds don't have enough material to make a large enough runner in the proper shape; some don't have a large enough radius to take advantage of a good flowing cylinder head; and some have too small or too large of a plenum. Buying a manifold is largely guess-work and once you choose one, you are very limited on what can be done with it.

That is not the case with the Kinsler intake manifold. Not only can we help you size it properly for your engine based on our own testing, but after you purchase it you can change plenum sizes on the dyno and see what really works with your engine. If you want to try different size runners, you can buy just that portion of the manifold instead of having to purchase an entirely new manifold. The runners are large enough that you can match them to a large port cylinder head and it allows us to design the right amount of taper into the runner. Many of the other cast manifolds crack under big boost once they are matched to the large intake ports. This IS the most versatile intake manifold on the market and in the long run it is the most economical and best power producing manifold you can invest in.
